The Summit At Snoqualmie Ski Resort is composed of four different ski areas:

Summit West
Home to SPVSP. A great area to learn how to ski, with generally easier terrain than the other areas.
Summit Central
A mix of varied terrain, generally geared towards intermediate skiers and snowboarders.
Summit East
Less crowded than the other ski areas, the terrain here is most appropriate for advanced skiers.
The most extreme terrain of the four ski areas, Alpental offers terrain to challenge even expert skiers and snowboarders. Alpental also provides backcountry access.

A lift ticket purchased at any of these areas is valid at all of them. Summit West, Summit Central, and Summit East are interconnected by crossover ski trails. Alpental is located in a box canyon nearby, and can be accessed by private car or by the complimentary shuttle which runs between all four ski area bases.

As of October 2007, the management of Summit at Snoqualmie has been passed from Booth Creek to Boyne Resorts, which owns and operates Crystal Mountain, also located in the Seattle area.
